What traits are desireable in a Wiki?
There are many variants available – TiddlyWiki, MediaWiki, etc. Many blogs programs are essentially wikis as well. What should the optimal wiki do?
- Doesn’t require cumbersome markup to enter text (==words==)
- Supports Tagging to jump around and identify groups
- Editable online and offline
- Able to create new pages from within the program
- Able to insert media
- Wide variant of formating options
